Yucca indoors?

I have a new yucca 'elephantipes' or spineless yucca which I'm going to plant in a large pot and keep indoors. It's in a place that will get very warm in summer but not that warm in winter (only gets direct sun late afternoons in winter) but nonetheless is a very bright area with loads of natural light. Will it be OK here or should i put it outside where it will get full sun? No googled answers please, I've already googled this, I'd like advice from people with experience.

Yucca indoors?
It should be fine... this particular variety of yucca is well suited to indoor culture. Give it plenty of light, and be careful to not overwater. As long as it doesn't hit freezing in the winter, it will survive low temps.
Reply:i think once its inside its best to stay there. ive already have a couple of yuccas n the leaves go yellow if u put it back out in strong sun. they seems 2 thrive in conservatories, and are difficult to kill so r pretty hardy. i dont think they mind the cold, but obviously no frost, as pots and frost dont mix.
Reply:i have always had yuccas indoors, and never really needed to put it in direct light, the only problem i can see is how cold it will get in the winter. but in general they a pretty robust.
