Can anyone identify this yucca-like tree?

I have a tree in my front yard but I am not sure what it is. For years I thought it was a yucca but looking online it doesn't match any yucca that I could find. Mum thinks its a dragon's blood plant but I couldn't find a match either. There are a few of these around town. We live in a Mediterranean climate. I took some photos to help. The seedlings handle transplanting quite well!
