Is it true John McCain is bad for nevada?

Some say he is anti-gambling and pro-yucca mountain. I consider myself conservative but am very weary of John McCain. Am I wrong?

Is it true John McCain is bad for nevada?
even if he was anti gambling, which I doubt because they are 'big business' and create jobs, it wouldn't change much about the gambling business in Nevada. Those casinos and the like aren't going anywhere anytime soon no matter who is president...
Reply:It does'nt matter, that caucus is over and it's a red state that will vote for any republican.

,But if the anti gambling people can get another state from making gambling legal, he's earned your vote.
Reply:If he were, he would have shut down all the casinos in Arizona
Reply:Gambling was run for generations by gangsters, and you can bet they are still well represented. Gambling is known to be addictive and a financial disaster for many people. It leads to suicide in some cases, or crime to support the habit.

As for Yucca mountain, safe centralized storage of nuclear waste in a remote area must be done SOMEWHERE even though nobody (including Nevada residents) wants it in their home state. And despite a long "half-life", properly stored nuclear waste DOES eventually deteriorate. Certainly you have heard of "depleted uranium".

McCain is taking reasonable and necessary positions on both issues, and has the guts to state his case for the good of the nation. Bear in mind that, as a former Navy officer, he knows something about nuclear physics (and a good bit more than any of his opponents).
Reply:Yes, he's bad...see these videos below
