How much light do Yuccas need?

Full direct sun for at least 6 hours a day.

How much light do Yuccas need?
they need a lot of light my husband is from panama, in central america and they grow them there. its very warm and sunny all year around
Reply:They do good indoors with indirect light and do not water too much. As you feel the soil mostly dry, give it a little water. bettyk
Reply:Hello I have mine planted on the north side of my house ..outdoors so they do like light but not direct..they dont need a whole lot.but do need some.
Reply:Hi!!

I would give it as much light as possible. They are originally from the south, but they have "moved" north, too. Around here (MO) they have jumped the borders of gardens and I have seen them growing wild in the woods. That's not a whole lot of light, but they do best in lots of light. If you are growing it inside, I would put it in your sunniest window and it should do well.
Reply:Indoor plant, or outdoor plant?

Both require full sun. At least 6 hours of direct sunlight. A south-westerly exposure.
