Cassava/Yucca is this the same as Tapioca?

We are trying for a baby soon and we would LOVE to have twins. This sounds like the dumbest question ever but I read in many places that to raise chances of twins you should eat alot of cassava/yucca.

I can find yucca at whole foods but I also read its toxic or poisonous if cooked wrong, also found that tapioca is made from cassava so I was wondering if maybe eating alot of things w/ tapioca and tapioca flour etc... might work just the same.

Anyone know? please no stupid mean answers I really would appreciate a serious answer!

Cassava is like a potato but stringy; if you are worried about undercooking it, the best way is to put it in soups and boil it a long time; with chicken, beef or pork. In South America, it is prepared may ways; they always put it in soups...they also boil it, let it drain and cool, then deep fry it like french fries, in wedges. They also make a bread out of it. It is very starchy, though.
Reply:No, tapioca is arrow roots. They are purplish when cooked.
Reply:no. tapioca is not the same as cassava or yucca. yucca can be boiled, fried like french fries, put in soup to thicken pot etc. cassava can be made into a flat cake and tortilla like thing and fried or baked...i think its called bammy...tapioca can be used to make tapioca pudding
