I'm in the cal. desert.my mom and stepdad are in the yucca valley area.
I'm really worried about them(sawtooth complex fire)I can see the smoke from my house but they are closer.I want to know how much danger they are in.
Does anyone know where I can get more info?
The California Department of Forestry manages all California wildfires and can be relied on for information. See the link below. They put up incident reports and these are used by local media to inform the public - including you.
Also, if you know someone with XM radio, you can monitor the emergency alert station.
I hope for the best. Good luck.
Reply:why don't you give them a call?
