Some ofmy cane yucca leaves are drooping and looking whiteish.why is this so?

Overwatering may be the problem or it is also time to repot or both. If your plant is outside, it might be time to dig and divide. If it is inside, you need to repot. Yucca leaves will also turn whitish if not getting enough sun. It might be time to relocate the plant where it is getting maximum sunlight. Yuccas thrive on neglect. You might be paying too much attention.

Sounds like you are watering it too much--the roots may have a root rot. Watering once a week is plenty and never let water stand in the saucer.
