Outdoor types grow fairly quickly here in the South. They like full sun and a well drained soil to do best.
How quickly do yucca/yukka plants grow??
I live in south wales where we get lots of rain and some sunshine, moderatley cold winters and rarely any snow. I have 3 yukka trees growing in pots outside. They are not the healthiest looking plants and their growth rate is very, very slow. I think they grew faster when I had them inside the house. There each about 3 foot tall now and I had them about 8 years ago when they were only about a foot and a half, so they've doubled their size in 8 years.
