It could very well have to do with the lighting. Yucca comes from southern Mexico and must have high direct light. So first provide better care and maintenance by giving more light. If the plant is too far away from a good light source; the results will be weak growth and the plant will use very little water. Also a good flow of circulating air is important due to the fluctuation of temperatures in the winter-even inside the home.
How do you revive a tired-looking Yucca plant(no funnies!)?

Reply:You don't say exactly what's wrong with it, but here's what I do to my huge six-footer(no funnies!)
Every couple of years, repot it, using a bigger pot and good quality compost.
When the leaves get dusty, just wipe them with a damp cloth, bearing in mind the edges are sharp and can easily cut you!
Cut off any dead leaves, usually at the bottom of the plant, and finally,
...water it well. A lot of people think you don't need to water a yucca much, but the secret is give it a lot of water every week or two. I give mine about 2 litres at a time, every 2 weeks.
If it's really dry looking with droopy leaves, you could even put in the bath and run the shower over it for 10 minutes, I did this with mine after I came back from holiday once when it was looking very sorry for itself, and it came up a treat!
Reply:i wipe my yucca plabts leaves with milk and it likes mozart.no bull its true
Reply:you need to give the leaves a good clean, maybe get some plant food and possibly repot with some fresh compost... there are oils that you can buy for the leaves might be worth having a look in your local plant/garden shop
Reply:In our country they just do good in the sandhill pastures..I tried to transplant one yrs ago..it never turned out to be very attractive..You might give it a little fertilizer..like miracle grow..they get a root equal to a small tree in the wild..%26amp; probably get their nitrogen from rain %26amp; snow.
Reply:if is it planted outside trim all old leaves and sidedress with an organic fertilizer
they grow in super slomo so whatever you do will take time to recover from
